Building of the ‘sukkah’ (a temporary hut or booth) outside Synagogue and the home—for living in during the Festival and for Taking and Shaking the Four Species ( Lulav (Palm Branch), Etrog (Citron), Hadassim (Myrtle Leaves), Aravot (Willow Twigs)
TRADITIONAL FOODS
The foods for this festival are the same as for Rosh Hashanah or the Sabbath.
Also included are plenty of fruit and vegetables.
